Chairman called jha meeting to order and read petition. All abutters were
notified by Certified mail and the necessary pfiblication was made in the
Cape Cod Standard Times and the Dennis -Yarmouth Register.
11r. Ccrasuolo: On November 8, 1964, an ad was in the Boston Globe, which I
recently went to look up in the Boston Public Library. It said "Business
opportunity, retire on Cape Cod. Hotel, only $1500 down, to be sacrificed
this week. 4 house -keeping units, 3 bedrooms, one studio. Summer rentals,
weekly bookings, $80 - $90 a month to bank." I came down and purchased it.
It is already in existance. I ran it last year and was told I was running
it illegally. I have a record of deed.
Hr. Hayes: How many buildings? Do you have a mortgage? Was it through a
lawyer?
Mr. Corasuolo: All around here is business.
k1r. Hayes: It appears that you need approval. -How maror rental units?
11r. Cerasuolo: 4, 3 room units.
11r. Hayes: You are entitled to 2 under zoning. How many outside entrances?
11r. Cerasuolo: 2 to every one of the 4. There are 6 baths.
Mr. Hayes: It is in an area that is zoned for single families or duplexes..
Hr. Cerasuolo: What am I going to do? I have a hardship case here.
Mr. Lowe: •I am an attorney, representing the Yarmouth Productions, Inc., and
Mr. -Bogard, abutters. All are objecting. This calls for operation of the
existing motel. By what right do these exist? They were built before a permit
was given. When these were sold they were subdivided. The Henshall's purchased
