5) NO PART OF THIS DESIGN SHALL BE ALTERED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL
FROM THE DESIGN ENGINEER AND THE AGENT OF THE LOCAL BOARD OF

8) THE EXISTING SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM (INCLUDING CESSPOOLS) SHALL BE
PUMPED, FILLED WITH SAND, AND ABANDONED; OR SHALL BE REMOVED
WITH SURROUNDING CONTAMINATED SOILS AND BACKFILLED WITH CLEAN
COARSE SAND.
IF APPLICABLE:
9) FILL MATERIAL FOR SYSTEMS CONSTRUCTED IN FILL SHAM BE CLEAN
GRANULAR SAND, FREE OF ORGANIC MATTER AND OTHER DELETERIOUS
MATERIALS. THE SAND SHALL BE GRADED SUCH THAT NOT MORE THAN
45% OF THE SAMPLE, BY WEIGHT, SHALL BE RETAINED ON THE4 SIEVE.
THE FILL SHALL NOT CONTAIN ANY MATERIAL LARGER THAN 2 INCHES.
