2. ALL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS SHALL CONFORM TO THE STATE SANITARY CODE, TITLE
5 AND TOWN OF YARMOUTH HEALTH REGULATIONS. .
3. ANY CHANGES TO THIS PLAN MUST BE APPROVED BY THE HEALTH DEPT. AND CAPE COD
ENGINEERING, INC.
4. INSTALLATION CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY WITH PLUMBING CONTRACTOR THE SOIL
PIPE EXIT LOCATIONS AT THE FOUNDATION PRIOR TO SETTING COMPONENTS AND
MAKING CONNECTIONS.
S. WHERE THE PROPOSED WATER SERVICE PIPE CROSSES THE GUEST COTTAGE SOIL PIPE
PROVIDE A 20 FT. LENGTH OF SCH. 40 PVC SOIL PIPE CENTERED ON THE POINT OF
CROSSING. PRESSURE TEST TO INSURE WATER -TIGHTNESS. THE SOIL PIPE FOR GUEST
COTTAGE CONNECTION TO THE SEPTIC TANK MAY BE INSTALLED AND CAPPED PRIOR TO
GUEST COTTAGE CONSTRUCTION IF NECESSARY TO LIMIT FUTURE LANDSCAPE
DISTURBANCE.
6. A S IT. PERIMETER EXCAVATION IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE UNSUITABLE SOIL AROUND
AND BELOW THE S.A.S. TO A DEPTH OF APPROXIMATELY 7IT. REMOVE THE SURFACE
SOILS AND THE IDI SOIL LAYER SHOWN IN THE SOIL TESTS. REPLACE EXCAVATED SOIL
WITH A SUITABLE SAND FILL MEETING TITLE 5 SPECIFICATIONS. CONSTRUCT THE SAS IN
THE NEW MATERIAL. REUSE EXCAVATED TOPSOIL AND SUBSOIL FOR EARTH COVER AS
NEEDED. '
7. INSTALLER SHALL CONTACT CAPE COD ENGINEERING, INC. (508-0964961) FOR A SOIL
QUALITY INSPECTION OF THE PERIMETER EXCAVATION. CONTACT THE ENGINEER IF
