We are following up with an inspection to determine the actual number of legal bedrooms. I have no issues regarding
the size of the septic.We will notify the Health Dept and Assessors' offices with the actual legal number of bedrooms.

Hi Mark-
I am reviewing a septic system plan (6 bedroom design)for an existing dwelling that is currently assessed for 3
bedrooms. I have a floor plan (submitted with the septic design) showing a 6 bedroom house which includes a
finished second floor and basement. Your records for this property indicate a violation notice issued to the
owner in 2006 regarding unpermitted work, however, I did not find any further follow-up that the unpermitted
work was legalized.
This property is not restricted to number of bedrooms per the Title 5 regulations, therefore, the proposed septic
system upgrade would be allowed by the Health Department as long as the Building Department is satisfied
that the home is a legal 6 bedroom dwelling including what appears to be a separate apartment in the
basement.
I have attached the assessing card, the relevant violation notice, and the recently submitted floor plan for your
review. I will await your department's findings prior to issuing a septic installation permit.
