RE: Variance Request—Town of Yarmouth Poultry Regulations

Dear Ms. Majewski and Mr. Upton:
At the meeting of the Board of Health held on October 18, 2010, the Board voted to grant
a variance from the town's poultty regulations regarding the distance of the chicken coop
from property lines and the distance of the chicken coop to abutting dwellings. The '
Boazd also required that a stockade fence will be installed on the two side lines. You will '
be limited to no more than 8 chickens and no rooster will be allowed. Enclosed you will
an application for a poultry license form which must be�lled out and returned along with
the license fee.
A reminder that you need ta go to the Old King's Highway office regarding approvals
needed from the Historic District Commission.
