To Whom It May Concern,
In response to the enclosed letter concerning the Federal Tax ID Number, ptense be
aware that we are not a profit making organization. We are a 22 unit, 22 owner
Condominium complex and have an opernting budget whereby money is collected in the
form of dues and spent on common services, repairs and improvements. At the end of
ench year, there is a small amount left in the Treasury which enables us to continue
to function until dues are collected the following year. We do not file with the
Federal Government.
If the problem has to do with our categorization as "Cabins," then perhaps that
should be change.d. That category may have been appropriate at n time when the
complex was owned by a single owner. That has long not been fihe case. Since having a
pool seems to make a difference, we have not had a pool for approximately 15 years.
Further, there is not a single owner who rents for the entire season.
We cannot offer a FEIN and nor can we provide you with a social security number
since there is no one person or group operating a business. We have volunteers who
serve on a board and who are nat paid for their services.
