MEMORANDUM
TO: Jack Rhynd
Assistant Building Inspector
FROM: Colleen E. Pelley
Health Inspector
SUBJECT: Team Inspection November 25, 1997, at
Beachberry Inn, 157 Berry Avenue, West Yarmouth
DATE: December 1, 1997
During the inspection the following items were noted that require correction/completion:
1. The bathroom on the first floor needs the toilet and sink installed (under
renovation).
2. The bathroom on the second floor needs a new floor thax is a smooth,
nonconosive, nonabsorbent and waterproof covering.
3. The kitchen floor needs to be replaced with a smooth nonconosive,
nonabsorbent and waterproof covering.
4. The leak from the kitchen sink needs to be repaired and a new faucet handle
installed.
5. Thermometers are needed in a11 cold storage units.
6. Refrigerators need to be kept clean and ice boxes need to be defrosted.
7. The microwave needs to be kept clean.
8. An area needs to be provided to store toxic materials away from food and
food contact areas.
9. The screen or glass to the storm door to the kitchen and to the front of the
building needs to be installed.
10. The leak from the oil burner in the basement needs to be repaired immediately.
