Re: Annual Swimming Pool Safety Report
Dear Mr. Murphy:
In response to your letter regarding the above, the Board of Trustees of Buck
Island Village Condominium states the following. Our pools are maintained for the
use of our residents and their guests only. Trustee,James Farrell, and Property
Manager, Florence Incerto, monitor the pools for safety violations.
The pool gate is locked and is key entered by our residents, only.
Approximately ten people utilize the pools on a daily basis and
approximately 25 per day on weekends. A log sheet is located inside of entrance to
pool and residents/guests are required to sign-in upon entry. An emergency
telephone (push button "911" capability) is located inside of the pool area. All
mechanical equipment is enclosed in a fenced, secured area and chemicals are
stored in a locked storage area. We have maintained a 100% safety record in the
last ten (plus) years at our pools.
We shall continue to comply with alI of the requiremen4s of the To��vn af
Yarmouth's Board of Health for the safety and health of everyone in our
community who utilize our pools.
Thank you for your anticipated approval of our request which will help us
during the summer season without jeopardizing our safety and that of our guests.
