He had assessed already, without any outside influence, that a new three-bay sink and a new hand sink would be part of the plan to bring the kitchen area up to Food Code. He also has made provisions to install a new mop sink downstairs. Mr. Armentrout agreed with me as well that the ice machine should be professionally cleaned or replaced. These improvements along with the improvements outlined in my memo to Mr. Lawton on December 17, 2002 (e.g. floor tile°repair, hood cleaning, air quality testing, no�autdoor food preparation, etc), will make , _ ` the Concession Stand at Bass River Golf Course compliant with a11 Federal, State and Local Food Codes. As you are already probably aware, there was fel�nious acti�ity at Bass River Golf Course on the ` � �arly.rnorning�.of��January�21; 20D3. Tl�e kitchen�was�tta,�g�ted alpmg .with other areas pf the , interior Club House. Besides `stealing beer and cigars, someone had =emptied the fire extinguishers all'around the kitchen azea and inside the refrigerators. I perfor�ed an inspection � `and wrote a Food service Insp�ction`Report for th� praper cleaning and de�ontamination of.a11 > : � �� � ` � cookware and food produets. I le�t this report for pon Deay with whorn I:ass�ssed thg situation. I feel that Mr. Armentrout is on the.�ght path regarding updating the kitchen and,-bringing the ` Y F� entire C1ub House into compliance: I tol�l him at tkus meeting and will,rea��i to�y.ou as well ,, that I will do everything I can to help make this�ood Concession a top-rate estal�lishn�ent. ,,, � , �ie�e�l��i?:,��e�•����;�����grg is �;-da�a�e to a Food Service Establishment that is owned or operated by the town. Also, I-lc�ow the. Club House is closed but the fire extinguishers will have to be serviced and all renovat��ns must be completed before operation of the Kitchen may resume with the new Concession Manager. � .
