Dear Bntee,
As you may know the Gull Wing is in the process of becoming the Irish Village.
As part of this process we have added a 91 seat restaurant and pub. The design septic
Flow for the property is 14,960 gpd . There are currently 134 physical rooms being
operated as 128 rooms six of which are double suites, and a smaller restaurant and pub.
Because of the design flow of the new restaurant and pub we will be required to reduce
the rooms to 114.
Based on water bills for the last three years the actual flow for the Gull Wing rooms
And the Irish Village Restaurant approximately 4,000 gpd . This is substantially less
than the 14,960 gpd design flow. Therefore we are currently negotiating with the DEP
To allow the 134 rooms based on actual flow.
The problem arises in the fat that we willbe redtteed to 114 rooms as of 1/1/11.
Because of the current cap on the number of rooms if we give up the rooms and are then
successful with the DEP, I arn not sure we could get the rooms back. I would therefore
respectfully request that we be allowed to hold onto the rooms pending the outcome of
the DEP negotiations, with an end date of say 9 months.
'Fhank you,
