HomeMy WebLinkAbout83-1007 - Cross SectionsGENERAL NOTES 1. Haybales staked to the ground shall be placed where indicated on the plan prior to commencing construction. 2. All excavated material shall be removed to suitable site outside the 100 ft. buffer zone. 3. No construction debris, brush, or construction materials shall be stored or otherwise deposited beyond the limit of disturbance marked by the haybale silt fence shown on the plan. 4. Post installation for the platforms and elevated stairway shall be done by hand. 5. All lumber for the stairway and platforms shall be wolmanized for "in -ground" use as a minimum (0.6 lbs./ft.3 saturation C.C.A.). 6. All lumber for the pier shall be southern pine, wolmanized for marine application (2.2 lbs./ft.3 saturation C.C.A.). Treat all field cuts with osmose k-33 or equivalent. 7. Pilings shall be driven into place wherever possible. All other pilings shall be jetted into place, pile butt -end down. E. All hardware used in the construction of the plat- forms, elevated stairway, pier, ramp, and float shall be of steel, hot dip galvanized. 9. Paving bricks or blocks shall be of coarse texture use "presidential pavers" manufactured by Harwich Concrete Block, Inc, or equivalent. Ultimate selection of paving brick shall be the option of the owner. 10. Grass used to seed the shoulder area in the buffer zone shall be a Cape Cod grass seed mix. .The soil should be limed. Nitrogen fertilizer is not re- commended. 11. All disturbed areas resulting from the construction shall be revegetated upon completion of construction.
