Type of Motel Unit: � ���.r �R�� — C Dv�.��s, . Standard motel units prnv�de occupants with a place to sleep and bathe. Kitchen facilities other than a microwave are not provided. Efficiency Units provide axupants with a place to sleep and bathe,as well as kitchen facilities. Kitchen faalities may be either a cooktop or a full stove. Efficiency units are generally contained within structures commonly recognized as motels,i.e.comprised of 6 or more conanguous units. Efficiency units may contain one or more bedrooms. Cottages/Cabins are detached structures that provide occupants with a piace to sleep and bathe as well as kitchen facilities. Cabins/cottages may contain one or more bedrooms. Type of ReMaL• Short-term(Transient)rentals are tt�ose rentals considered temporary and short-term as defined by the Yarmouth Zoning Bylaw(see below). Long-term Public rentals are those rentals made to the general public for periods of time that cumulatively,or in and of themselves,are outside of the definition of transient. '� Permanerit Empioyee rentais are those rentais made for ihe pur�os�o#providing housing to#f�e owner s ampioyees ori a tong-term basis. Seasonal Employee rentals are those rentais made for the purpose of providing housing to the ovi/ners employees for the summer season (June-September). _ � Definitions: . Guest Unit:A room or suite of rooms in a hotei,motel,motor inn or guesthouse,suitable for separate rental. Transient:For the purposes of the limitations of motel or hotel use,Transient occupancy shall be limited to the temporary and short term ocxupancy,ordinarily and customarily assoaated witt�motel and hotel use. Transient occupants must have,and be able to demonstrate that they maintain,a principal piace of residence elsewhe�. Transient occupancy shail generatly refer to continuous occupancy of not more than thirty(30)days,and an aggregate of not more than ninery(90)days within any six(6)month period. Use of a guest unit as a residence,or dwelling unit,shall not be considered transient.
