The Cape and islands Council,Boy Scouts of America are planning to open our summer�ub
Scout Day camp and our High Adventure program for older Scouts. The Older Scouts will be in ca.mp
for one evening and a day of training before heading out on bikes to different locations on the Cape. We
ha.ve obtained a license to operate a recrea.tional camp and Overnight Camp.
� We are opening the Hi h Adventure cam on Saturda Jul 9 Th and or Cub Da cam will

begin on Monday, July 14 Th. The High adventure program will end on August 12Tb and the Day Camp
will end on August 19�.

' As part of our annual accreditation pracess for summer cape, the Cape& islands Council is
required to have current letters of agreement or understandings with each local authority on file to
; provide emergency care and services. These include medical, rescue, fire, law enforcement and the
Health Department.
I will call you just prior to our opening date and arrange an inspection time and date at your
convenience to complete the licensing process for the state to operate a summer camp.
