1. Accept premises as found.
2. The contractor shall field verify all conditions and dimensions prior to any work - contractor shall be
responsible for all work and materials including that furnished by subcontractors.
3. Discrepancies between portions of the contract documents are not intended - contractor is to clarify with
the owner any such discrepancies prior to commencing work.
4. Contractor shall report to owner any errors, inconsistencies or omissions he may discover prior to
commencing work. the contractor is responsible for correcting any errors after the start of construction
which have not been brought to the attention of the owner. the means of correcting any error shall frst
be approved by the architect and owner_
5. Dimensions take precedence over drawings - do not scale drawings.
6. All construction shall comply with the applicable building codes and local restrictions.
7. All electrical work shall be performed by others and shall conform to state and local requirements.
8. Do not obstruct streets, sidewalks, alleys or right-of-ways without first obtaining proper permits.
9. Contractor shall clean work areas on a daily basis so as not to accumulate debris - upon project
completion contractor is to clean work areas and job site thoroughly so as to remove all construction
dust and residue and debris.
10. All work shall be performed to the highest industry standards for quality workmanship - all materials shall
be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations - materials
and methods shall conform to appropriate national trade publications.
11. The owner may perform additional work that is not part of this contract with his own forces, under
separate contracts and/or with other contractors - the contractors shall cooperate with the owner and
other contractors and coordinate his work with the owner so that work by others may be accomplished in
a timely manner.
12. The contractor shall be responsible for job safety, and shall take all necessary precautions to secure
safety of workers and occupants at all times.
13. The contractor shall be responsible for and shall remedy or replace any faulty, improper or inferior
materials or workmanship which shall appear within one (1) year or as otherwise specified for a specific
component after the completion and acceptance of the work under this contract.
14. Finish materials shall conform to local building codes / ordinances for minimum flame spread
classifications.
15. The contractor shall furnish and install all minor items which are obviously and reasonably necessay to
complete any installation.
