RE: Engineered Septic Plans 14 Niagara Lane,West Yarmouth, lVlA
Dear 1VIr. Milne:
This office is in receipt of the revised plans dated 8/19/96 for the above address. These plans
have been revieved and the following issues remain to be addressed from our last letter to you:
1. Please review the proposed top of peastoneelevation which appears to be inaccurately
calculated. This elevation is crucial to the breakout issue because of the mounded
leaching facility.
2. Please clarify the proposed versus existing contours over and surrounding the leaching
facility. The elevations of the proposed and existing contours must be clearly labelled.
The elevation of the peastone (breakout elevation) must be carried out a minimum of 15'
from the edge of peastone to avoid breakout of leachate.
Please submit four revised plans for reviev by this department. Additionally, prior to final
approval, a Title V application signed by a licensed installer and a $50.00 permit fee must be
submitted to this office.
If there are any questions vith the above matters, please contact this office at 398-2231 X241.
Sincerely,
! 1. -
