3. THE EXISTING PIER AND COASTAL FEATURES ARE
CURRENTLY LICENSED FOR MAINTENANCE BY NIASS. DEP
WATERWAYS LICENCE NO. 3408
4. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALT, BE VIA THE ACCESS
ROUTE LEAD UNG FROM THE DRIVE;,'AY SHOWN ON TIIE
SITE PLAN.
5. A WORK LIMIT SHALL BE SET IN PLACE AS A STAKED
FABRIC SILT FENCE. THE FENCE SHALL BE DILIGENTLY
MAINTAINED AND INSPECTED DAILY.
6. NO WORK IS PERMITTED WITHIN TIIE EXISTING SALT
MARSH( AREA. ALL WORK SAALL BE DONE FRONT THE
LANDWARD SIDE
7. THE WORK ACTIVITY SHALL OCCUPY A MINIMUM AREA

11. EXISTING RIP RAP SHALL BE REMOVED AND SORTED TO
CULL OUT THE STONES FOR RE -USE. ALL NEW STONE
SHALL BE NATIVE GRANITE OFA SIZE AS SPECIFIED ON
THE TYPICAL SECTION VIEW.
12. STONES SHALL BE RESET IN A MANNER TO ACHIEVE
MAXIMUM STABILITY, WITH EACTI STONE FIRMLY
CONTACTING TIT BED STONES AND THOSE DIRECTLY
ADJACENT WITH MINIMUM GAPS.
13. "CIIINKING" STONES SHALL BE HAND PLACED INSIDE. THE
PLANE OF THE STONE FACE AND INSPECTED FOR LOCKED
STABILITY.
