CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
1. THE SCOPE OF WORK FOR THIS PROJECT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: 1) REPLACEMENT OF THE EXISTING BLOCK

PROVIDE NATURAL EROSION CONTROL TO THE SCARPED AREA SEAWARD OF THE EXISTING VEGETATED BUFFER.
2. ELEVATIONS REFER TO NGVD. CONTACT SHOREFRONT CONSULTING FOR ADDITIONAL ELEVATION INFORMATION
AS NEEDED.
3. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALL BE VIA THE ACCESS ROUTE SHOWN ON THE PLAN AND DIRECTLY OVER THE
APPLICANT'S PROPERTY. STAGING AREA FOR MATERIAL SHALL BE IN THE DRIVEWAY.
4. THE WORK ACTIVITY SHALL OCCUPY A MINIMUM AREA TO ACCOMPLISH THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW RETAINING
WALL, DECK EXTENSION, AND PATIO. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS HANDLING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
WORK PROTOCOL SUBMITTED WITH THE NOTICE OF INTENT, THE RESULTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS AND AS
DIRECTED BY THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES.
5. THE EXISTING VEGETATED BUFFER CONSISTS OF INVASIVES (BITTERSWEET, ETC.) AND VARIOUS OVERGROWN
VEGETATION. IT IS THE INTENT OF THIS APPLICATION TO REMOVE ALL INVASIVES, CUT BACK OVERGROWN
VEGETATION THAT EXTENDS OVER THE SCARP, AND REDUCE THE OVERALL HEIGHT TO FIVE (5) FEET. THE AREA
SEAWARD OF THE SCARP WILL BE NOURISHED WITH CLEAN FILL, AND VEGETATED WITH SPARTINA PATENS AS
NEEDED.
6. ALL AREAS DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE RETURNED TO THEIR PRE -CONSTRUCTION
CONDITION. ALL WORK SHALL BE INSPECTED BY SHOREFRONT CONSULTING AND RECEIVE APPROVAL BEFORE
REMOVING EQUIPMENT FROM THE SITE.
7. THE ACCESS ROUTE AND WORK SITE SHALL BE CLEANED AND RESTORED TO RESEMBLE THE
PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONTOURS AND CONDITIONS.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A COPY OF THE ORDER OF CONDITIONS ISSUED FOR THE PROJECT BY THE
YARMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION PRIOR TO THE START OF ANY WORK.
9. THE ELEVATED WALKWAY AND STAIRS SHALL BE RECONFIGURED AS SHOWN IN SECTION A -A (PROPOSED).
10. THE 2'X 8' SITTINGISTORAGE AREA SHALL BE FRAMED TO MATCH THE EXISTING PIER.
11. THE PROPOSED DECK EXTENSION SHALL BE FRAMED TO MATCH THE EXISTING DECK.
12. A PORTION OF THE EXISTING FENCE FROM THE SHED TO THE WATER'S EDGE SHALL BE REPLACED IN-KIND, AND IN
THE SAME LOCATION.
13. THE EXISTING PINE TREE SHALL BE REMOVED ENTIRELY, INCLUDING THE STUMP. ALL MATERIAL SHALL BE REMOVED
FROM THE SITE AND DISPOSED OF AT AN APPROVED FACILITY.
14. THE EXISTING TIMBER RETAINING WALL SHALL BE REMOVED ONLY AS NECESSARY FOR INSTALLATION OF THE
GEOGRID. ALL MATERIAL SHALL BE DISPOSED OF AT AN APPROVED OFFSITE FACILITY.
