DREDGING NOTES
1. CONTACT CAPE COD ENGINEERING, INC PRIOR TO INITIATING WORK FOR CONFIRMATION OF ELEVATION
BENCHMARK, VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL CONTROL, AND FOR REVIEW'OF ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS.
2. ANTICIPATED VOLUME IS 90 C.Y. FOR A DREDGED DEPTH OF - 3 MLW WITHIN THE AREA INDICATED.
3. ACCESS ACTIVITY FOR DREDGING WORK SHALL BE BY BARGE FROM TIDAL WATERS. DEWATERING SHALL
OCCUR ON THE BARGE.
4. DREDGED MATERIAL SHALL BE PLACED DIRECTLY INTO BARGED - STAGED POLYPROPYLENE FILTER CLOTH
SACKS OF APPROX.1 C.Y. VOLUME FOR DEWATERING.
5. DREDGED MATERIAL TRANSPORT SHALL BE DIRECTLY FROM THE BARGE AT A SUITABLE LANDING AREA WITH
DIRECT VEHICLE ACCESS.
6. AT SUCH TIME THAT THE DREDGED SAND MATERIAL FALLS BELOW SATURATION MOISTURE CONTENT TT MAY
BE TRANSPORTED TO A TRUCK FOR TRANSPORT TO A SUITABLE BEACH SITE HAVING SIMILAR GRAIN SIZE
CHARACTERISTICS.
7. WORK ACTIVITY LIMITS SHALL BE STAKED OR OTHERWISE MARKED OUT AND REVIEWED WITH THE
DREDGING CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO INITIATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITY.
8. A SILTATION CURTAIN SHALL BE DEPLOYED WHERE NECESSARY BASED ON INSPECTION OF THE WORK
EFFORT.
9. FOLLOW ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES INCLUDED IN THE TOWN OF YARMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION
ORDER OF CONDITIONS, MASS DEP DREDGE PERMIT AND OTHER AUTHORIZATIONS CONDITIONING THE WORK
ACTIVITY.
10.WORK ACTIVITY SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE TOWN OF YARMOUTH SHELLFISH MANAGEMENT
AUTHORITY AS DIRECTED
JLAT COMPLETION THE BOTTOM CONTOUR SHALL BE LEFT NEAT AND UNIFORM CONTOURED CONDITION.

3. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALL BE PRIMARILY BY THE RIVER WITH LIMITED ACCESS DIRECTLYTHROUGH THE PROPERTY.

RESTRICTED, NATURAL WOOD OR COMPOSITE, NON -LEACHING MATERIALS.
7. SEE TYPICAL DETAILS FOR GENERAL FRAMING REQUIREMENTS.
8. DECK PLANK SPACING SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF % INCH OR AS SPECIFIED BY THE CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MOORING BALL 9. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND DEBRIS SHALL NOT BE STORED OR DISCARDED ON THE BANK OR BEACH. THE BEACH AND BUFFER ZONE
O SHALL BE COMPLETELY CLEARED OF ANY DEBRIS ON A DAILY BASIS.
10. RAMP AND FLOAT REMOVAL SHALL BE AT A SUITABLE OFF-SITE LOCATION. THE FLOAT SHALL NOT BE STORED ANYWHERE WITHIN
THE RESOURCE AREAS OR THE BUFFER ZONE ON THE PROPERTY.
11. REFER TO ANY ORDER OF CONDITIONS ISSUED FOR THIS PROJECT BY THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION AND OTHER
AGENCIES FOR CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES.
