GENERAL NOTES
1. ELEVATIONS REFER TO MLW = 0.0. FOR ADDITIONAL BENCHMARK INFORMATION CONTACT CAPE COD
ENGINEERING, INC.
2. PIER AND MARINA FACILITY IS LICENSED UNDER MGL. CHAP 91 WW LIC. # 197 WITH UPDATING
APPLICATION PENDING FOR PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS.
3. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALL BE PRIMARILY BY UNCLE ROBERTS COVE WITH LIMITED ACCESS DIRECTLY
THROUGH THE UPLAND PROPERTY.
4. EXCAVATION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THAT NECESSARY FOR PILING REMOVAL INSTALLATION.
5. WHERE NAVIGABLE WATER PERMITS, PILINGS SHALL BE HAMMER DRIVEN. MINIMUM PILING EMBEDMENT
DEPTH SHALL BE 12 FT.
6. ALL HARDWARE USED FOR CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE OF HOT DIP GALVANIZED STEEL OR EQUAL.
7. ALL TIMBER USED SHALL BE CONSTRUCTION GRADE SOUTHERN YELLOW PINE CONSITENT WITH YARMOUTH
CONSERVATION COMMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESERVATIVE TREATMENT OR NATURAL GREENHEART,
COMPOSITES AS APPROVED.
8. STRUCTURAL DETAILS REGARDING THE PROPOSED FLOATS, RAMPS EITHER SHOP BUILTTIMBER OR
PREFABRICATED ALUMINUM SHALL BE DETERMINED UPON FINAL ACCEPTANCE OFTHE AVAILABLE OPTIONS
BY THE OWNERS.
9. SEE TYPICAL DEAILS FOR GENERAL FRAMING REQUIREMENTS.
10. DECK PLANK SPACING SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 1/2 INCH.
11. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND DEBRIS SHALL NOT BE STORED OR DISCARDED IN THE COASTAL AREA.
THE BEACH AND BUFFER ZONE SHALL BE COMPLETELY CLEARED OF ANY DEBRIS ON A DAILY BASIS. DEBRIS
GENERATED FOR UPLAND TRANSPORT SHALL BE CONFINED IN A COVERED BIN, DUMPSER OR ROLL -OFF
CONTAINER.
12. REFER TO ANY ORDER OF CONDITIONS ISSUED FOR THIS PROJECT BY THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION
COMMISSION AND OTHER AGENCIES FOR CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES AND
GUIDELINES.
