CLEAN FILL SHALL BE BROUGHT ON SITE TO FILL THE AREA BEHIND THE NEW WALL TO ELEVATION 6.5'
NAVD88. THE NEW RETURNS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AT A LOWER HEIGHT THAN THE NEW WALL SO THAT
THEY ARE HIDDEN BELOW THE PROPOSED GRADE.
3. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALL BE FROM THE APPLICANTS PROPERTY AND FROM A WORKING BARGE.
EQUIPMENT SHALL BE STORED ON THE APPLICANTS PROPERTY OR THE WORKING BARGE WHEN NOT IN
USE. WORKING BARGE TO BE ANCHORED TO AVOID BOTTOMING OUT DURING PERIODS OF LOW TIDE.
4. THE WORK ACTIVITY SHALL OCCUPY A MINIMUM AREA TO ACCOMPLISH THE INSTALLATION OF THE
BULKHEAD. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS HANDLING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WORK PROTOCOL
SUBMITTED WITH THE NOTICE OF INTENT, THE RESULTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS AND AS DIRECTED BY
THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES.
5. ALL WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED FROM A WORK14G BARGE AS MUCH AS PRACTICAL. THE SHEET PILING
MAY BE DRIVEN BY A SMALL EXCAVATOR ON THE LANDWARD SIDE OF THE BULKHEAD. THE REMAINDER
OF WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY HAND. AT NO TIME SHALL THE WORKING BARGE COME IN
CONTACT WITH THE BOTTOM.
6. VINYL SHEETING SHALL BE SHOREGUARD SG -625, WITH 15 -FOOT SHEETS FOR THE CANAL WALL, AND
SG 825 WITH 18 -FOOT LONG SHEETS FOR THE RIVERFRONT WALL ALL SHEETING SHALL BE DRIVEN TO
THE FULL DEPTH WITH MINIMUM CUTTOFF. IF DESIGN EMBEDMENT CAN NOT BE REACHED, SHOREFRONT
CONSULTING SHALL BE CONTACTED BEFORE PROCEEDING.
7. ALL AREAS DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE RETURNED TO THEIR PRE -CONSTRUCTION
CONDITION. ALL WORK SHALL BE INSPECTED BY SHOREFRONT CONSULTING AND RECEIVE APPROVAL
BEFORE REMOVING EQUIPMENT FROM THE SITE.
B. THE ACCESS ROUTE AND WORK SITE SHALL BE CLEANED AND RESTORED TO RESEMBLE THE
PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONTOURS AND CONDITIONS.
9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A COPY OF THE ORDER OF CONDITIONS ISSUED FOR THE PROJECT BY
THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION PRIOR TO THE START OF ANY WORK.
10. ANY TIMBER USED IN THE WATER SHALL NOT BE CCA PRESSURE TREATED. ALL HARDWARE SHALL BE
GALVANIZED OR STAINLESS STEEL, UNLESS OTHERWSE APPROVED BY OWNER OR SHOREFRONT
CONSULTING.
11. ANY DEBRIS OR MATERIAL THAT ENTERS THE WATER DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE REMOVED
IMMEDIATELY.
12. THE EXISTING ANCHORS SHALL BE INSPECTED, PULL TESTED, EVALUATED AND RE -USED WHERE
POSSIBLE. NEW TIE ROD SECTIONS SHALL BE WELDED ONTO THE EXISTING USABLE SECTIONS AND
WRAPPED OR COVERED WITH A PROTECTIVE COATING TO PREVENT CORROSION.
13. THE EXISTING WOODEN WALKWAY AND CORNER DECK BEHIND THE BULKHEAD SHALL BE REMOVED.
14, THE EXISTING LANDING AND WALKWAY FOR THE DOCK SHALL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED, BUT RAISED
TO MEET THE NEW BULKHEAD.
15. THERE IS A PROPOSED GRAVEL PARKING AREA FOR BOAT STORAGE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE
PROPERTY. THIS AREA TO BE GRADED FLAT.
16. THE EXISTING DECKING AND CORNER LANDING BEHIND THE BULKHEAD SHALL BE REMOVED.
