Regulations of the Massachusetts Sanitary Code: Article VI, Minimm Standards for Pools; ar� Town Amern�nents to Article VI.
1. All items approved on the conatruction plan are of pezmar►ent nature and need not be checked at each inspection�
�� 2. t�AI�TH: Shower and hea�l� signs posted which state that bathers take showers; no sick or infected bathers;
no glass or dangerous objd�ts; and children under the age of 16 must be accarganied .by an adult swimner within.

have one available on the premises during pool operating hours.

� 8. DEPTH Must be clearly marked on deck and wall of pool. Markings must be displayed for every foot doum

�$. DIVING BOARD6: Rigidly constructed, properly anchored, braced for heavxest load, seund no splinters or cracks,
non slip surface. Not over 10 feet above water level a�l at least 13 feet unobstructed head roan.
�0. WATflt SqJRCE: Water used in any swinming pool shall be from a source approved by the Health Department. '
Gt�[11. $AGTFRIOLOGI�AL (�)ALITY: Health Department shall cause water samQles to be analyzed as considered necessary.
Quality shall meet the (�PHS drinking water standards. Untreated water not over 2,400 h�PN Goliform.
,,�12. Ct�1ulICAL STql�RD6: Treated with chlorine or other effective method. Tests taken at least 4 times a day
as required by Nealth Departtnent. Free Chlorine 1.0 - 3.0, pN 7.2 - 7.8, Branine 2.0 - 6.0, ;

�17. IIaCiASUREs A 6 foot high fence in accordance with M.G.L. c.140 with self-closing and self-latching gates or doors.
Indoor pool must also be restricted in a similar manner. Pool entrances ar►d exits to be lockec� during
nqn-operating hours.
�18. C�OSURE: Uperator to close pool when water does not meet the requi:rements of this code. Operator understands j
their responsibilities in regarda to operating a public/sani-public swimning pool.
