Revocation of Motel License

Dear Ms. Stewart:

i The Health Deparatment has received the Board of Appeals Decision #4182 regarding
j Knotty Pine Motel, 24 Vineyard Street, South Yarmouth. The Boaxd of Appeals found
; that the current use was not acting as a motel. The Board of Appeals granted the
' establishment the change from a motel to 5 one bedroom apartments with the condition
! that each unit be limited to one occupant and a Board of Health rental application be

required for each unit.
' Based upon this Board of Appeals decision, a Board of Health hearing has been
�
' scheduled for 3:30 PM on Monday, May 5, 2008 in the downstairs hearing room at town
ha11. At that time, the Board will revoke the motel license issued to the Knotty Pine
Motel. �
Enclosed are 2008 rental registration forms for each of the units. Housing Inspector
Brian Heaslip will be contacting you to schedule inspections of the 5 units. Per the Board
of Appeals decision, each unit will be occupied by 1 person.
