DEMOLITION SHALL INCLUDE ALL HANGERS, SUPPORTS, ANCHORS, ETC. ALL DEMOLISHED ITEMS SHALL BE DISPOSED OF IN A LEGAL MANNER. 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE EXACT LOCATIONS OF ALL EQUIPMENT, DUCTWORK AND ASSOCIATED ACCESSORIES IN FIELD. DRAWINGS ARE DIAGRAMMATIC AND INDICATE APPROXIMATE LOCATIONS OF THE APPARATUS. 3. FOR ALL THE RTUs, THE REMOTE TEMPERATURE SENSORS ARE LOCATED IN THE SPACE BEING SERVED BY THE RESPECTIVE RTU AND ALL THE ASSOCIATED THERMOSTATS ARE LOCATED IN THE ELECTRICAL ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR. THE EXISTING WALL MOUNTED TEMPERATURE SENSORS SHALL REMAIN UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED BY THE OWNER. FOR SPACES WITH MODIFICATIONS TO THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOCATION, CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE AND RELOCATE THE SENSOR TO NEW LOCATIONS. EXTEND CONTROL WIRING AS REQUIRED. ALL CONTROL WIRING SHALL BE CONCEALED WITHIN THE WALLS. 4. PROVIDE NEW TRANSFER GRILLES WHERE SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS. PROVIDE 1" ACOUSTICAL LINING IN THE TRANSFER DUCTWORK. 5. CONTRACTOR SHALL DISCONNECT DUCTWORK ASSOCIATED WITH RTU -4 AND RTU -8 AND REMOVE THESE EXISTING RTUs TO SWAP THE LOCATIONS OF THESE UNITS. CONTRACTOR SHALL CHANGE THE EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION TAGS ACCORDINGLY. EXISTING ROOF CURBS SHALL REMAIN. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROPERLY SECURE THE UNITS IN THE NEW LOCATIONS. DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING AND CONTROLS AND MAKE SAFE PRIOR TO REMOVAL. 6. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL EXISTING SMOKE DETECTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RTUs ARE OPERATIONAL. EXISTING SMOKE DETECTORS THAT ARE OPERATIONAL SHALL REMAIN. SMOKE DETECTORS THAT ARE NOT OPERATIONAL SHALL BE REMOVED AND DUCTWORK SHALL BE PATCHED AIR TIGHT. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE EC TO INSTALL NEW SMOKE DETECTORS IN THE RETURN AIR DUCTWORK FOR THE REMOVED SMOKE DETECTORS. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL NEW SMOKE DETECTORS FOR ALL RTUs WITH SUPPLY AIR GREATER THAN AND EQUAL TO 2000 CFM THAT DO NOT HAVE EXISTING SMOKE DETECTORS IN THE RETURN AIR DUCTWORK. SMOKE DETECTORS SHALL BE FURNISHED BY EC AND INSTALLED BY THE HVAC CONTRACTOR. EC SHALL WIRE THE SMOKE DETECTORS TO THE FIRE ALARM. HVAC CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE CONTROL WIRING FOR THE SMOKE DETECTOR TO SHUTDOWN THE RTUs IN THE EVENT OF SMOKE DETECTION. 7. IT EQUIPMENT ROOM: CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN ALL MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED CLEARANCES FOR THE INDOOR AC UNITS AND ACCUs. REFRIGERANT PIPING BETWEEN THE AC AND ACCO SHALL BE SIZED PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS. 8. RTU -8: PROVIDE ACOUSTICAL LINING FOR THE FIRST 10' OF SUPPLY AND RETURN DUCTWORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE RTU. 9. ALL DEMOLITION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE TO LOCAL CODES AND STANDARDS. 10. ALL ELECTRICAL WORK RELATED TO EQUIPMENT BEING REMOVED SHALL BE DISCONNECTED AND MADE SAFE BY THE EC. 11. ALL PLUMBING WORK RELATED TO EQUIPMENT BEING REMOVED SHALL BE DISCONNECTED AND MADE SAFE BY THE PC. 12. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PATCH ALL WALL, FLOOR, CEILING AND ROOF OPENINGS RESULTING DURING DEMOLITION PROPERLY TO MATCH EXISTING. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE LOCATIONS WITH GC. 13.
