Tardif, Esq. 490 Main Street Yarmouth Port, MA 02675 RE: 51 Winter Street, Yarmouth Port Dear Attorney Tardif, This letter serves to inform you of my determination regarding a pre-existing apartment at the above stated address. Based on the information available to me and after searching the records of the Assessors Department, my conclusion is that the apartment may have existed around the time of construction in 1967. Although the Assessor records do not consistently state that an apartment existed, the oldest records on file indicate the number of bedrooms and the floor plan have remained consistent over the years. After speaking with the town assessor, and he indicating that the discrepancy could just be that a different person conducted the site visit and did not make note of the apartment I think a fair assessment from me is that the apartment has been in existence. However, any modifications to the use may result in the request for relief from the Board of Appeals. e Truly, Mark Grylls Building Commissioner 1
