Hi Chuck-
Just reviewed your draft and have the following comments:
1. Label your Top of Foundation elevation—we have a local regulation (TOY 3.7) that requires the top of
foundation to be a minimum 2' above the high point of the fronting of the road (Pleasant Street). Our
office will grant a variance as long as the variance is listed on the plan and the top of foundation
elevation along with the final grading are adequate to prevent any runoff from flowing towards the
foundation.
2. Label the Benchmark (I may have missed it since I am working off a reduced size plan).
3. The design data lists a 1500 gal septic tank instead of the two compartment 2000 gal tank shown on
the rest of the plan.
4. Unless I am missing another 4 bedrooms somewhere on the floor plan, revise the Design Data to show
"proposed 2 bedroom, design for 6 bedroom". This will help our office avoid any confusion in the future ;
with regards to number of bedrooms if any renovations/additions are proposed to the property. '
When the building permit package is submitted, our office will need a total of 4 site/septic plans (2 will be
forwarded to the Building Department) and 3 floor plans (2 will be forwarded to the Building Department). The
copy of the floor plan for our office can be a reduced size and only needs to be the page showing the actual '
room layout (A2.0). '
