GENERAL NOTES/SPEGIFIGATIONS:
1. It is tre intent of These drawings and obligation of the contractor and all subcontractors to meet all requirements of the
Massachusetts State Building Code 780 cmr ,sixth edition and all other applicable codes, standards and regulations. Any
conflicts found between regulations and these documents are to be immediately brought to the architect's attention.
2. The Owner will provide the Building Permit. Each individual subcontractor is to provide all additional permits as required by the building
inspector.
3. The Contractor is wholly responsible for the coordination of all dimensions herein specified with the actual field dimensions. Those
dimensions indicated on the drawings ore to the face of the stud, unless otherwise noted. Arry discrepancies, unforseen or abnormal
situations which may arise during construction are to be brought to the architects immediate attention prior to proceeding with the work.
4. The Framing Contractor is to provide all blocking within the walls for secure installation OF millwork, casing, moulding, cabinetry, shelving,
toilet accessories, etc. as required. 5ubcontroctors are to review and provide information in a timely manner. Each sub contractor is to
provide information to the General Contractor for coordination and with the framing contractor in a timely manner and prior to installation
of MEP roughing.
5. The Contractor is to protect installed roofing surface from construction damage. Properly flash in all new work and penetrations.
6. All new drywall surfaces shall be constructed with 1/2 thickness GWB with skim coat plaster finish. See floor/ceiling finish schedules.
Walls shall be constructed with al recessary corner, edge trim and appropriate accessories. AU plaster finishes to be smooth throughout.
Provide type x board on all walls and ceilings in the garage.
7. All new doors, window casings oral baseboards shall be pairted pine u-dess rated c--ervnse. AI corne-s snail be mitered.

9. FRAMING NOTES/SPECIFICATIONS:
a. All framing stock to be SPF No. 2 and btr. Fb=1100, E=14.
