Leaching field requires four inspection ports with irrigation control box covers to finished grade. 10.) Septic tank inspections: Effluent filter with smart alarm. Fill septic tank to operating level. 11.) Pump chamber: Extend inlet tee to within 1.0' of the floor of the chamber. Alarm controls are not to be connected to the pump force main. Alarm controls are to be on a separate hanger or pole. 2" force main to exit through outlet riser. Continuously slope force main to drain back completely into pump chamber at the end of each cycle. Chamber is to be filled to opearting level. Pump chamber is required to be water tested with Health Department and designer present.
