5.) A 5' soil over -dig to minimum El. 45.4 is required (Fine Sand). A soil suitability assessment is required prior to the placement of Title -5 fill.
6.) 40 mil. PE or PVC liner is to be installed around proposed SAS as shown at El. 52.2 to El. 47.2.
7.) One cubic foot of thrust blocking is required at all force main angle points.
8.) Septic tank, pump chamber and distribution box are to be watertight per Title 5 requirements.
9.) Raise septic tank and pump chamber outlet covers to grade with poly covers bolted to riser or steel covers and rings. Raise septic tank inlet cover, pump chamber inlet cover and
distribution box cover to within 6" of finished grade. Leaching field requires four inspection ports with irrigation control box covers to finished grade.
10.) Septic tank inspections: Effluent filter with smart alarm. Fill septic tank to operating level.
11.) Pump chamber: Extend inlet tee to within 1.0' of the floor of the chamber. Alarm controls are not to be connected to the pump force main. Alarm controls are to be on a separate
hanger or pole. 2" force main to exit through outlet riser. Continuously slope force main to drain back completely into pump chamber at the end of each cycle. Chamber is to be filled to
opearting level. Pump chamber is required to be water tested with Health Department and designer present. All electrical lines are to be set in conduit. *Electrical Permit Required*
12.) Backfill SAS with Title 5 clean granular sand (15.255 (3)). Backfill, loam and seed construction impact areas. Grade to prevent run-off onto adjacent lots. A final grade inspection
is required.
