You are therefore required as the owner of all commercial properties which contain these structures,to provide an original,stamped affidavit signed by a structural engineer,attesting that he or she has inspected and certified said structures as safe for public use. You must comply with within three months from the expiration date listed on your current certificate. The issuance of a new certificate, however,will be subject to the receipt of the engineer's report.
