Dear Sir,
Mr. and Mrs. Al LaBrecque of 16 South Street , Bass
River, have asked me to do some work on their garage. It is
a single car garage, built before WW II and looks very
dated.
What they would like done is;
On the gable end of the garage facing the driveway and South
Street:
Remove the old wooden swing out garage door and replace
it with a four panel roll-up door.
Replace the existing board and batten access/entrance
door with a true modern exterior door.
On the east side of the garage:
Remove, frame closed and shingle two of the four
existing windows . The?rgmpining two windows will have their
sashes replaced. . . 7
On the back of the garage:
Close off the existing shed. Reroof it with roll
roofing. Install a custom board and batten door which would
be wide enough to let a lawn tractor through. About 40
inches wide by 5 feet 8 inches high.
In the garage:
The garage has a dirt floor. Pour a concrete floor and
entrance apron. The dirt will be leveled, power tamped,
wire reenforcing mesh will be used and concrete will be
poured to a depth of 5 1/2 to 6 inches.
There will be no electrical or plumbing work done.
