Subject: Notice of Violations, dated 10 September, 1990
Dear Mr. Rhynd,
This in response to your above letter.
We added an outdoor shower to our house in approximately 1988. We will
apply to the Historic board to assure compliance.
Approximately four years ago, we replaced existing wood gutters with
aluminum gutters. We will apply to the Historic Board to assure
compliance.
Your claim that we replaced a window on the east end of the house is in
error. We have never replaced a window since purchasing this house in
1979. If there is a dispute in this matter , I wish to examine any evidence
you may have to the contrary.
In approximately 1982, I personally repaired the front roof , replacing
wood shingle with wood shingle. At that time, I also replaced some of the
sheathing beneath the shingles with new plywood. No rafters were replaced
at all . If there is no statute of limitations regarding timeliness of
notice of alleged violation, then I will certainly with any legal
requirements.
I appreciate your bringing these matters to my attention, and I will take
action as indicated above.
