2. Measure dimension W1,the inside width,and W2,the outside width of the foundation slope sig l_s__ ,

3. Measure dimension L1,the inside length,and 12,the outside length of the areaway foundation. ----
Record your dimensions and make the calculation shown.
4. Select the widest and longest SLW Door from the table to the right that will fit between the foundation
sidewalls.Frame length should be between 11+2"and 1.2.Frame length can be extended with optional
extension panels.

BILCO Ultra Series Basement Door
Product Specifications
Bulkhead door to basement shall be BILCO Ultra Series Size C land 6" (15.2 cm)or 12' (30.5 cm)
extension, if required]. Door panels shall be constructed of high-density polyethylene and have
a wood design and texture molded into the panels. Bilco products can withstand a minimum
200 lb live load. Hardware shall have a polyester powder coated finish and all fasteners shall be
zinc-plated and chromate sealed for corrosion resistance. Basement door sill strip shall be
constructed of extruded aluminum and an EPDM rubber header gasket shall be supplied for
weathertightness. Door panels shall be equipped with motion dampers for controlled door
operation and a slide bolt locking mechanism for areaway security. Manufacturer shall supply a
five-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.Installation shall be in
accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
