-'Our'investigations. reveal that a 4i" concrete slab
(f = 3,000 p.s.i. ) reinforced with 6x6x#6/6 welded wire
mesh poured on a suitably compacted granular sub-base
will safely support the loads superimposed thereon from
a 15 ton fire truck (distributed wheel load of 12 kips) .
