What we are planning on doing now is to keep the house color the same(which was the color I sent to your originally as I don't know what the real color used was) and paint the doors white. If I understand correctly, that means that I can withdraw the application. Am I right on that? Regarding the shutters, we will put shutters back on the house. We are going to buy prepainted black ones. The same size as the previous green shutters. Does that require approval? Thanks. Sorry for the confusion. I'll get back to you as soon as we make a decision. I don't think we'll be able to get shutters that match the blue we picked for the door and the garage. I spoke to the OKH Chairman and he would like to know when the shutters were removed as there is no application for their removal in the OKH files. He feels strongly that the shutters should not have been removed as they are an integral part of a Cape Cod style home. 2 Before considering the application to change the paint color of the front and garage doors,the shutter issue must first be resolved. Your options are: 1. Re-install the shutters 2. Submit an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness to seek approval to remove the shutters from the OKH Committee. Should you choose option 1, please provide a picture of the shutter style to be installed and I will add this to the Certificate of Exemption application that was submitted for the paint color change. Should you choose option 2, please complete and submit the attached application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for placement on an upcoming OKH meeting agenda. For your convenience, I also attached a parcel map on which I circled the numbers that should be listed on the Abutters List. You only need to list the Map (first 3 digits) and Lot numbers (remaining digits), I will obtain the mailing addresses. The OKH Committee hearings take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7:15PM in the Hearing Room downstairs at the Yarmouth Town Hall. Please note the following filing deadlines for the next two meetings: Filing Deadline Meeting Date Wed, Oct 3, 2018 Mon, Oct 22, 2018 Wed, Oct 24, 2018 Tues, Nov 13, 2018 Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
