What happoned?
Hallet's store at 139 Route 6A in Yarmouth Port was severely
damaged early Wednesday morning when a car crashed into
the store that has been in business for 123 years. Police said
the incident occurred at 3:56' a.m. when the driver -fell
asleep at the wheel.
How bad is the damage?
The front windows,and door were smashed and the front
of the building was pushed off its foundation: The insideof
the building was fully exposed: Owner'Charles Clark saac, I
don't know the total damage. I'm still trying: to get over the
shock." He was trying to find'out ifhis insurance will cover the
