During my inspection of the outside and inside of Aardvark Cafe, I found the exhaust system and air conditioner cooling unit to be working appropriately, and the noise to be consistent with properly functioning units. A food odor was apparent outside the building in some areas but was not extremely strong or offensive. I found no health code violations pertaining to your complaint. Aardvark Cafe is a regulated business that is located in an area zoned for business. I have forwarded your concerns about the restaurant not having a sprinkler system to Captain Peter Raiskio of the Yarmouth Fire Department. If you have any questions or comments relative to this matter, please feel free to contact me at the Health Office. I can be reached by calling (508)398-2231, ext. 241, Monday through Friday, during business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thank you. S'ncerely, olleen E. Pelley Health Inspector CEP/maf cc: Capt.
