Flaherty, Jr. Health Inspector Town of Yarmouth Dear Mr. Flaherty: I own a condominium unit at Pilgrim Acres Village at 90 Seaview Avenue in S. Yarmouth and I was in to see you in July because we had to let one of our managers go and we were looking for your assistance in getting coverage and guidance in how we could proceed in the future. Your suggestion that day was for some of the residents to get certified. Most of our units are owner -occupied, but a few owners still rent for most of the summer season, so we know that we do not qualify for a variance regarding coverage, so we have decided on the following plan: Our permanent residents all have agreed to take the necessary courses (CPR, First Aid and Pool Safety for non -swimmers -- I'm not sure if I have the course names correct, and I look for your guidance on this). We will always have a number of people on the premises who are certified. We also have a Certified Pool Operator; Oceanside Pools currently overseeing our pool and we intend to keep them in service. Also, we have three people who have volunteered to check r r the levels three times a day and keep records of same. y i The reason for this note is that I want you to let me know if our plans comply with your rules and regulations for pool use by a complex that does have some renters. Please let me know if there is anything else we will need to do in order to comply. Thank you so much for your help. You may e-mail me at the address below. Thank you again.
