Good talking to you Friday. Your outline looks fine, however the groundwater elevation must be checked, the engineer
can do a post.hole in the green area or dig through one of the old leach pits (if not full with effluent) rather than a deep
hole with a machine. The system must be designed per state title 5 code, but we will look at the adjusted ground water
and may vary the leaching field down to 4 feet above adjusted groundwater. We will take into consideration the past
groundwater elevations on the site.
Look forward to working with you and the engineer.
We will proceed with a pre -opening inspection of the ice cream shop this Wednesday so it may open this weekend.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your call. I'm writing this email to confirm our discussion and agreement as to next steps, as well as to bring
the related parties up to speed:
1) We will design a new septic system based on the actual 2-year historic water flow data of the ice cream shop. The
actual flow is +/-250 gal/day so the system will be designed for twice that, per the regulations.
2) We will get topography data for the location of this new leaching field to establish groundwater clearance. We will use
the groundwater elevation data already on file and not be required to do additional test pits and/or perc tests.
3) The Ice Cream shop will be allowed to open as planned on April 18 for thirty days. So long as we are moving forward
with the execution of this plan they will be allowed to remain open. Our mutual goal is to have the new system in place by
Memorial Day Weekend.
We're all looking forward to getting this done. Please confirm these points so we can proceed.
