PROPOSED DECK EXPANSION:

MITIGATION PLANTING:
1.) THE OPEN SANDY AREA WITHIN THE COASTAL DUNE, AS SHOWN ON THE
PLAN VIEW, SHALL BE PLANTED WITH AMERICAN BEACH GRASS. PLANTING
SHALL CONSIST OF THE GRASS PLUGS (3 CULMS PER HOLE) AND PLANTED IN
A 12 INCH DIAGONAL MATRIX.
2.) THE BEACH GRASS, IF NEEDED, WILL BE IRRIGATED TILL ESTABLISHED.
THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM SHALL BE TEMPORARY.
ACCESS AND CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
3.) CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALL BE FROM THE DRIVEWAY AND ALONG THE
WESTERN SIDE OF THE EXISTING DWELLING.
4.) ALL CUTTING AND STORAGE OF MATERIALS SHALL TAKE PLACE IN THE
DRIVEWAY AREA.
5.) ALL DISTURBED AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH AMERICAN BEACH
GRASS. REFER TO NOTE 1 & 2.
6.) ANY VEGETATION WITHIN THE EXPANSION AREA SHALL BE CUT BACK TO
ALLOW FOR THE PROPOSED DECK. THE EXISTING VEGETATION SHALL NOT BE
REMOVED OR HAVE THE ROOT MASS DISTURBED.
7.) THE AREAS UNDER THE PROPOSED DECK EXPANSION SHALL BE PLANTED
WITH AMERICAN BEACH GRASS SO AS TO OFFSET ANY PLANTINGS DAMAGED
DURING CONSTRUCTION.
