Dear Town of Yarmouth Health Dept.
I realize I might sound like a broken record here, but I would like, again,to respectfully express the
difficulty that is posed to us by receiving our license to operate each year long after we are open for the
season. This year our license arrived on July 27thwhich is half way through our operating season and
well over halfway through the year. Many other organizations that we do business with, including 1-1
Exchange Programs and the US State Dept.require copies of our business license to allow us to work
with them. Having only an expired license to provide for over half the year is a constant problem and I
am in a position each year of having to talk my way into being allowed to operate in conjunction with
them. I am constantly being met by them with skepticism and the accusation that we are somehow in
the wrong or in violation of the law by operating without a business license. They claim this in not
something they encounter anywhere else.
Could you please consider running your licenses from July to July or giving me some sort of proof to
show that we are a licensed establishment year-round or at least during the days that we are open and
providing lodging and employment.
Thank You for your consideration,
Sincerely
