Hi Kelly,
Thank you for the information, I will review everything and get back to you with any questions or concerns. The
protection and improvements to this land is my top priority and I want to take all necessary steps to reach my goals. Any
other information you think will help towards the planning of the reconstruction to this farm will be greatly appreciated. I
will keep you updated with my findings as well. As you mentioned a walk through of the property, might I suggest that the
representative of the U.S.D.A. join us along with any one else you may think could help. I look forward to working with
you, the Conservation Commission and the rest of the pertaining town offices along with the U.S.D.A. in
regards to my plan.
Thank you much!
Christopher Wilson

Hi Christopher
Here is a link to the guidelines for farming in Wetland areas.

From what I can make out, farm stands, produce packaging facilities and habitable dwellings are not exempt,
so would require permitting through the Conservation Commission. The structure must be directly related to
production or raising of an agricultural commodity so I am not sure that a commercial kitchen producing baked
goods etc. would be exempt either. The exemptions generally apply to the work rather than the land - referred
to as Normal Maintenance and Improvement of Land in Agricultural Use.
Here is a link to the Wetland regulations on our Town website FYI.
