THE PROPOSED SAS.- PIPES SHALL BE CLASS 150 PRESSURE PIPE & SHOULD BE PRESSURE TESTED TO ASSURE
WATER TIGHTNESS. COORDINATE WITH LOCAL WATER DEPARTMENT.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES

2.) Existing sewer elevations are to be verified prior to the installation of new system components.
3.) Pump & retain existing 1000 -gallon septic tank. Replace inlet tee if corroded.
4.) Pump and remove existing leaching area and all contaminated soil within Y of proposed SAS.
5.) One cubic foot of thrust blocking is required at all force main angle points.
6.) Raise septic tank and pump chamber outlet covers to grade with poly covers bolted to riser or steel covers and rings. Raise septic tank inlet cover, pump
chamber inlet cover and distribution box cover to within 6" of finished grade. Leaching field requires four inspection ports with irrigation control box covers
to finished glade.
7.) Septic tank inspections: Effluent filter with smart alarm (to be located within the dwelling).
8.) Pump chamber. Extend inlet tee to within 1.0' of the floor of the chamber. Alarm controls are not to be connected to the pump force main. Alarm controls
are to be on a separate hanger or pole. Pump chamber is required to be water tested with Health Department and designer present. All electrical lines are to
be set in conduit.
9.) Backfill SAS with Title 5 clean granular sand (15.255 (3)). Backfill, loam and seed construction impact areas. A final grade inspection is required.
