Ferrari, EIT' Subject: 28 Doherty Lane Hi Dan and Craig- Not sure who is working on this plan—some comments to address from my review: 1. I did a comparison of the surrounding lots and systems. Because you are so close to a tidal water body, I don't think you need to use the full adjustment. If you use 0.5'of an adjustment bringing your adjusted water elevation to EL. 1.5, it will be more in line with the surrounding walls. 2. Add note: electrical permit required, tank to be waterproofed .—3. I suggest adding a ball or gate valve in your pump chamber to allow adjustment of the flow to the dbox (capability to turn it down to prevent the water splashing out of the dbox close to grade). 4. You will need a minimum 1500 gal septic tank with a 500 gal pump chamber—total 2000 gal two compartment. ..5. The setback variance to the neighbor's foundation will require a formal BOH hearing. It is not one of the variances we grant in-house. I would suggest you shift the leach facility towards your own house and request that variance instead in order to maintain the minimum 20'setback to the neighbor's. Because this is a field configuration, you can reduce the amount of fill around the leach field and make the wall smaller if you choose. The wall location closest to your house can stay where it is and shift the leach field 3' closer towards the tank within the wall. Let me know which direction you decide to take regarding the variance and let me know if you have any questions on the above. Amy L.von Hone, R.S.,C.H.O.
