Just a heads up that the property at 103 & 104 River Street in South Yarmouth went on the market the other day and I
have already received three inquiries regarding a full demolition of the home on the 103 property. 104 is a vacant
buildable lot across the street.
103 River St:
· Approx. Year Built: 1785
· single family home (zoned for multifamily)
· over 75 years old
· listed as a contributing structure in the SY/BR National Register Historic District
So that we are all on the same page, (Karen please correct me if I am wrong) YHC only has purview over the demolition
and not the rebuild or potential new build at 104. The YHC also has the discretion to include the CCC in their review of
the demo
