The Miscanthus grasses can be planted 30" on center so we are going to plant them in between the current grass plantings below the retaining wall. This means that we will have to transplant some of the bearberry from below the wall. We will also have to move the bearberry from the south fence line above the point where the retaining wall ends and the fence moves to the south 24" and plant them inconspicuously on the other side of the path around the tree and bordering the existing plants. Within the enclosure, Annick wants to lift the cobble parallel to the west facing fence on top of the retaining wall and level the grade with a pitch toward the wall and the catch basin, surround the catch basin perimeter with cobble and set the height appropriately for the drain. We would then have to lay filter paper and top dress the area with 3/4 native stone. This would leave only the cobble edged bluestone walkway and the foundation planting bed in which she would like to have three hydrangeas planted (blue, pink and purple) and mulched. With the excess cobble, I would like to make a drip border to the property line (24" wide) to the northeast corner of the retaining wall, cover with filter paper and fill with 3/4 native to the line on the foundation wall 8" from the anzac board. Can you quote me the price to complete this work? And let me know when it can be finished. Thanks, Doug It would be better if I were around to supervise the work. 1
