Recent proposed substantial improvements reference continued use of the current septic system, despite the land being on a flood plain, subject to coastal storm flowage, and subject to the new building code regulations resulting from the Town's adoption of the regulations pursuant to the 2014 FIRM/NFIP plan. (See Yarmouth Regs. 201.4 Flood plain zones)(See 403, Flood Area provisions). We write requesting copies of any plans submitted to your office, purporting to confirm that the proposed larger house and new in-law suite over the garage will all be adequately served by the existing septic system. We note that groundwater elevation at 114" and expected still water BFE of 11.4, in a 100 year storm,seem to preclude continued use of the existing system given the"substantial improvements" to the subject property.
