Sewage System
Dear Mr. McDermott:
This letter is in regards to the above subject. I have reviewed the sewage
system plan as submitted by Robin Wilcox. Several variances from the State
Subsurface Sewage System Construction Code Title 5 have been requested.
Upon review of the plans, the variances are granted with the following conditions:
1. The present occupancy of seven (7) per unit
must be reduced to six (6) per unit. (Revised
Occupancy Permits will be forwarded under
separate cover).
2. No garbage grinders allowed.
3. Low flow water savers be installed in the
toilets and showers.(Contact this department
for inspection for verification of installation) .
4. No dishwashers to be installed.
If you have any questions regarding the above please contact this office
within five (5) days upon receipt of this letter.
You have a right to a hearing before the Board of Health to show cause why
the aforementioned orders should be modified or withdrawn. If you wish to
exercise this right you must submit a written request to this office within
seven days of receipt of this notice. Meetings of the Yarmouth Board of
Health are held on the first and third Monday of each month.
