The petitioner requested a special permit to allow the expansion of a pre-existing

Philip Magnuson, Judith Sullivan.
It appearing that notice of said hearing has been given by sending notice thereof to
the petitioner and all those owners of property deemed by the Board to be affected
thereby and that public notice of such hearing having been given by publication in
The REgister on 3/26/87 and 4/2/87, the hearing was opened and held on the date first
above written.
The following appeared in favor of the petition: Mr. & Mrs. Phillips.
The following appeared in opposition: Yarmouth Camp Grounds Association.
REASON FOR DECISION:
The petitioner requests a special permit to allow the expansion of a pre-existing
non-conforming use for year-round use.
Petitioner submitted a certified plot plan of the general area of his home within
the Yarmouth Camp Grounds showing the location of the cottage and the site in general,
by THE BSC GROUP, dated June 3, 1986, and a floor plan of the proposed new cottage
prepared for Mr. & Mrs. Phillips and approved April 26, 1986 by the Yarmouth Camp
Ground Association, Inc.
The Camp Ground is a non-conforming cottage colony and any changes to the houses there
require a special permit from this Board.
No opposition was expressed to the request.
The Board unanimously finds that all of the requirements for the grant of a special
permit were demonstrated by the petitioner and the requests is granted on condition
that all construction is to be in accordance with the plan submitted to the Board
and that all Board of Health requirements are met.
Members of the Board voting 4 to 1 in favor of the petitioners request. Members voting
in favor the petition: Fritz Lindquist, Judith Sullivan, Leslie Campbell, Philip Magnuso:
and one member David Oman voted to abstain.
Therefore, the petition for special permit is granted.
No permit issued until 20 days from date of filing decision with the Town Clerk.
