Hi Sarah The Commission are usually OK with allowing the Order to expire during the “monitoring” period. You then request a COC once that period is complete. Our client, Cynthia Lockwood, 2 Alden Road, is interested in applying for a Certificate of Compliance now that the construction is nearing completion at her home. I see a Special Condition in the AOOC (copy attached) to allow for (2) growing seasons, Fall & Spring, prior to requesting a COC. The permit will be expiring at the end of May 2020. Would you suggest we request an Extension in case any of the plantings fail or try for a COC in the middle to end of April, prior the OOC expiration? Please let me know if you have any questions and how you suggest we proceed, an Extension or COC.
