Mr. Guillemette has been self-managing and working on his basement remodel for some time. Due to constraints with spare time and financial budgeting,his remodel project has taken longer than he expected. Rex Burger Electrical,Inc. applied for an electrical permit in September of 2018, and we have since requested a rough inspection for work done. Finish-related work has progressed, but not to completion prior to September of this year. Per 527 CMR 12.00 Rule 8,I am requesting that an extension of my electrical permit for this project be extended to no later than December 31,2019. I would like to afford Mr. Guillemette the opportunity to have us finish his electrical work and have it inspected without purposefully circumventing the proposed changes in the upcoming 2020 Massachusetts Electric Code.
