Yarmouth, MA 02664 /0 Inspection Date: September 26, 2019 ir- Location: 22 Cruiser Lane, West Yarmouth Permit No: BLDPS-19-001667 Issued to: Yardscape, Landscape & Irrigation, Inc., Jeffery Fanra Pursuant to the provisions of 780CMR(State Building Code), Section 110.3,Required Inspections,I performed an inspection of the swimming pool at the address noted above and observed the following violations/deficienciesla of the State Building Code: 1. Final Building and Wiring Inspections have not been requested. 2. Specifications for the Powered Safety Pool Cover were not submitted with the application package. Accordingly,as the permit holder of record,you are required to have the electrician of record contact Inspector Ken Elliott for a final inspection and provide me with a copy of the specifications for the pool cover,which is required to meet ASTM 1346 Standards to negate the installation of exterior door alarms. I am requesting that this action be completed by October 20, 2019. You may contact me at the phone number noted above should you have any questions concerning this matter. Very truly, James D. On several different occasions, the Coverstar covers,both automatic and manual have been tested by independent testing laboratories and have always been found to be in compliance with all the ASTM requirements for safety covers. Our covers are also listed by UL (File E164833)and classified by UL as a power safety cover in accordance with ASTM F 1346-91 If you wish to verify either of the UL certifications,take the following steps: Go to www.ul.com Once there click on Search UL.com Click on Online Certifications Directory. Under General Search click on UL File Number Type in.E164833 and hit enter You should now see Coverstar's listings. If you have problems,you can also search by company or by Automatic Pool Covers If more information is required about ASTM and its standards,you can go to their website at www.astm.org. We do have the Proposed Pool Location plan dated October 1, 2018. However, what I was referring to was an As Built Plot plan. We typically require one when a setback is close to the minimum requirement. In this case the minimum is 20 feet from the rear lot line. The proposed plan depicts 20.5 feet, thus triggering a required as built plan upon completion of a pool and/or addition. This notice was stamped on the proposed plan at the time the Building Permit was issued and attached to with the plans entitled "Applicant", accompanying the permit. Thanks. James D. V107a Hi Jim I brought it in the day robin Wilcox did it. It must have been put in some other folder by mistake. Not an issue I have two more copies here on file. I will make sure it is delivered to the building dept in the morning.
